The application for adding a child to the passport must be done at the same time as the documents for the establishment of the parent is being proceeded. Under these circumstances the application is free.
The application for adding a child to the passport must be go together with a parental authorisation signed by the father and/or the mother.

Requested documents

1- A notarised photocopy of the birth certificate of the child (for any birth certificate in other language than french a notarised translation is required)

2- Two (2) ID photos of the child

3- An amount of 500 DKK

4- A parental authorisation signed by the mother or the father of the child applying

5- Return fees of 100 DKK by registered mail if the applicant resides out of Copenhagen

NB: Processing time is 72 hours
